There are three local municipality whose name include “Shirakawa” in Gifu.
1. Shirakawa-mura is in north east of and it is famous for Shirakawa-Go.
2. Shirakawa-cho
3. Higashi-Shirakawa-mura are in east side.
Shirakawa-cho and Higashi-Shirakawa-mura are famous for its green tea, Shirakawa-Cha.
Many Japanese people are also confused with them. I learned them after I moved to Gifu.
